HEAVENLY ARMS is a photo book compiled from my daily practice of wandering city streets, looking for the musicality of American life, the scent of human connection and conflict. It's a book over ten years in the making. I could have had no idea what a consequential decade this would be to make pictures in, and the sometimes surreal and often question-filled photographs in this book unfold in a rhythm that invites the viewer into a sequential experience of subjective memories and associations leading from day into night.
Now all I need is your help to fund the printing of it. The pictures, edit, sequence, and design are all finalized, and I'm very lucky to be collaborating with Red Hook Editions in NYC, and Faenza Printing in Italy, to bring this project to life. With your help, this book will be available to the public worldwide by November of 2024.
Please check out my Kickstarter campaign today and contribute if you can, and you can get in on first delivery of the book. There’s options to receive it signed, or in a special package with an 8x10 limited print, or other perks.
